Crosscut Sled

Miter Sled

Raised Panel Jig

There's a hazy definition of just what a jig is. Some say a jig is any accessory that assists in the use of a given tool. Tool may be defined as the apparatus that does work of some kind (drill a hole, cut a slice, etc). By those two definitions, a drill press is a jig and the drill bit is the tool. Some folks are okay with that statement and others aren't. Which is right??

For my purposes, this section contains the jigs that I have built for myself. If you think it's a jig but you buy it from somewhere, if I have one it's probably in my tools section.

Here's a few of the better jigs I've built.
